Each of Calhern’s sub-families are designed to offer something different, both in mood and function. Calhern Condensed has extremely narrow letterforms, naturally allowing for large amounts of text to fit into tight areas in its’ lighter weights and retaining more style and presence in its’ heavier weights. Calhern Wide has extremely expanded letterforms, naturally allowing to fill large areas with very few characters and well suited for logotypes. Calhern Standard offers a neutral position between the two and is applicable for more universal usage.
